Chelsea will be hoping to complete a domestic double for the first time in their history when they take on Portsmouth in their FA Cup final clash on Saturday.

The Blues secured their first league title in four years with a thumping 8-0 win over Wigan Athletic and thus set up a new record of most goals scored in a single season. Having suffering a disappointing exit from the Champions League, coach Carlo Ancelotti will be keen to book his place in the club’s history by leading them to sixth FA Cup trophy.

Portsmouth on the other hand will be hoping to end the season on a high by winning their second FA Cup title in three years. Pompey have endured a disastrous season and will be selling most of their squad in the summer while doubts persist over the future of manager Avram Grant who is being tipped to replace Gianfranco Zola at West Ham. Pompey are sweating over the fitness of a number of key players while Richard Hughes is expected to miss the game with a hamstring injury. Chelsea on the other hand have no major injury concerns with Ricardo Carvalho expected to be fit before the kick off.
